Jake Paul will not simply be working the brand new MVP MMA promotion after the merger with PFL … he’ll even be preventing, and he is bought two big-name opponents in thoughts!
The Drawback Youngster chopped it up with Babcock on Friday … and was requested if he was focusing on his longtime rival, Nate Diaz.
“Yeah, Nate Diaz. Mike Perry can be nice,” the 29-year-old fighter stated.
“We love Mike Perry. The Nate dialog has been ongoing. It simply by no means made full sense. I believe up till this second, issues simply bought much more critical with this announcement. So, I would like the Nate Diaz MMA battle very, very dangerous.”
Paul’s firm, Most Helpful Promotions, is merging with Skilled Fighters League, and fights will finally run below the MVP MMA banner.
Jake and Nate’s beef goes again years. The 2 stars already fought within the boxing ring in August 2023 … which JP received by unanimous determination.
Paul had the benefit within the squared circle … however a combined martial arts battle would seemingly favor Diaz, who has been preventing MMA professionally since 2004.
Jake and Mike even have some historical past, too.
Perry was a sparring associate of Paul’s in early 2021 … and after clips leaked of the session, the blokes traded barbs back-and-forth.
Like with Diaz, Paul beat Perry in a boxing match in 2024.
Each matchups are engaging to Jake … and can be for followers, too.
As for his imaginative and prescient of MVP MMA, we requested Jake if the purpose was to compete with the UFC, and Paul made it clear they weren’t going to take a again seat to anybody.
“One thousand p.c, it is warfare.”
“I take a look at this like Coke versus Pepsi and there is already so many comparisons made with us on a day-to-day foundation, however we bought extra viewership than they did on their White Home card the place Donald Trump is selling it. I really like Donnie and we’ll make MMA nice once more.”
Backside line for Jake.
“We are able to compete. We’re competing and we’re out competing. So, it will be thrilling and fascinating.
