“Properly, how fortunate can one man be? I discovered some buddies as dumb as me.” That is the dream! It is also the opening line from the brand new Whitmer Thomas music “Terminal Crew Of Dudes.” Alabama native Thomas might be better-known as an actor and a comic than as a musician. Final 12 months, as an illustration, he was the hypnotized dad in Weapons. However Thomas additionally makes loads of music. Jay Som produced his EP Tilt final 12 months, and his music “Sweet Corn” got here out earlier this summer season. This Friday, he’ll drop a brand new HBO comedy particular that is additionally referred to as Terminal Crew Of Dudes, and the music comes from that.
Thomas recorded “Terminal Of Associates” with a crew of longtime buddies and collaborators, together with Clay Tatum, Budd Diaz, Jeremy Ritchie, and his brother Johnny McCann. It seems to be just like the particular is heavy on music. Within the trailer, these guys all appear to be sitting up there with Thomas whereas he is doing his comedy. As for the music, it is a laid-back ode to friendship: “I do not wanna undergo them white sand dunes with out my terminal crew of dudes.” I prefer it! Take a look at the music and aforementioned trailer under.
The Terminal Crew Of Dudes particular is out 8/14 on HBO, and an accompanying reside album is out the identical day on Fireplace Discuss.
