Townies React To Wednesday’s “Townies” With New Track “Wednesday”

[ad_1] "Townies" by Wednesday — that is a very good tune. The very best tune of 2025, actually. Townies, a Los Angeles-via-Boston emo band, tweeted shortly after the Bleeds launch, "Wait til they hear Wednesday by Townies." Now, they've lastly delivered on that promise.

The group launched "Wednesday" on — after all — Wednesday (Aug. 12). It is a rambunctious emo anthem with all the standard emo issues: somebody's in over his head, guts are being spilled, dudes are hanging by their neckties (I assume that is not too typical). It was recorded with producer Billy Mannino, who's labored with acts like Oso Oso and Macseal. Watch the accompanying music video directed by Zach Miller under.
