“So, anyway, early 2027, mark your calendars,” she stated on the podcast. “Sure, I’m internet hosting a courting actuality present known as Making Love. I’m getting into my matchmaker period.”
Paige stated, “The advertising workforce had no concept what they had been in for after they had been like, ‘Who ought to we forged? Oh, Hannah Berner. Hannah Berner looks as if host for the present.’ They usually’re like, ‘Nice. She’s obtained a podcast. She will be able to speak about it on her podcast.’ By no means did they assume that their present could be getting watched based mostly on Hannah‘s botch cosmetic surgery.”
“Once I inform you I can’t transfer my mouth till possibly episode six, barely. I imply, the primary… and let me inform you, the workforce behind this present is the workforce behind Love is Blind, Married at First Sight. Like, these are the true deal. Like, I’m not doing a courting actuality present except it’s just like the [creme de la creme,’” Hannah added.
“So these people were really – they knew what they were doing. They knew how to do a hit show, and I was sitting in my trailer, and I’m like, I’m going to ruin everyone’s day. Like, I was just scared I was getting fired. So the good news is I didn’t get fired,” she continued.
Hannah then explained the concept of the new dating show.
“It’s this really fun concept, I’m obsessed with it, where what if you could create your fantasy partner. So, they basically had people come in with a list, whatever they wanted. It’s their fantasy, and then they went out and found that person to see if they actually would fall in love. If you found someone who checked every box on your list. But then also that fantasy person that comes in gets to create their own fantasy person. So it was f-cking crazy. Once everyone comes in and they’re like, ‘That’s your perfect person. That’s what you’ve been waiting for. Is this going to be the love of your life now?’”
“I also decided I wanted to do this because I obviously have taken a break from reality and I wanted to wait for the perfect opportunity to get involved as a host being in full control, minus my emotions and smile. Um, and I love love. I am a romantic. I love love,” she added.
“By the end, I felt connected to everyone in a certain way ’cause you guys know how I speak to men. Some of these men I whipped into shape, like from the very beginning, some guy was like trying to be funny, chatty chat. I said, ‘That’s not how we’re doing it in this house.’ I felt like the substitute teacher who was like, I don’t know who you’ve been talking to previously this year, but I don’t f-ck with this sh-t. And then by the end, like once you get them to like you, then they open up. And that was the most fun part,” Hannah dished. “I had so much fun making them laugh, but then I saw some of these people find love. I saw some of these people get their f-cking heart shattered on TV. And there’s moments, you know, when you’re a host, like you’re standing there, they’re changing positions with cameras, and they make eye contact with me like I’m their big sister. And I was like, I gave them a thumbs up, like you’re doing great, like trust yourself. I don’t know. It was a little healing for me to be back in that place and see people on reality TV.”

“A dating competition is so different than a Bravo show,” she continued. “I think what’s so cool about this show is a lot of people are like, ‘Well, I haven’t met my dream person.’ They’re like, ‘Okay, here it is. Here’s your dream person. We looked all over America, and we f-cking found that person, plus more and better. Can you make them? Can you actually – is that your person? Can you fall in love with them?’ And it made people question what they thought they wanted. And I got to kind of challenge people’s beliefs and be like, ‘So, you said you wanted a guy like this, but he’s like this. Does that mean you’re not going to give him a chance? Like, if he has a slightly different spiritual belief, or if he’s a different nationality than you thought.”
“I think the show is going to be game-changing, epic, and just challenges all your beliefs of like, if you could create your perfect person, your fantasy person, would you actually fall in love?” I’m so excited to see your looks.”
If you missed it, Hannah and Paige are also developing their own scripted comedy series!
