“I simply wish to see you endure.”

Boundaries vocalist Matthew McDougal advised us in our latest interview that the longtime Connecticut metalcore outfit typically strove to be “heavier and scarier” on their Craving: the unbeautiful after album. They set the bar excessive from the soar by way of opening beatdown “Malconscience,” a music that revels in punitive pinch-squeals, teeth-cracking digital explosions and percussive swings that launch you down a billion-step spiral staircase.

McDougal goes meta with mania-inducing mosh calls (“Present me what I wish to see”), and we determine the pit’s going to get further ugly at any time when they cue this up within the set.

“THE END” is just the start for Kami Kehoe.

Look, we’ve made it clear that Kehoe is certainly one of our “experience or dies,” and her Revolver-approved run of singles continues with night-cruising temper tune “THE END.” The nocturnally hypnotic monitor floods the senses with rock and R&B feels, the artist working emotional, auto-tune-irradiated ideas over ice-cold snap beats or a compound-djented bridge.

That is all to say, Kehoe’s upcoming LOVE IS A WEAPON album is shaping as much as be a monster. Crank up your automotive stereo and let it experience.

“Again to life, born once more.”

The place to start with Detest’s A Stranger to You, the U.Okay. phenoms’ jaw-droppingly glorious new album?

Whereas the brand new report technically begins with the piano-centered “Entrance,” “Block of Flats” is the place Detest explode as a full-band entity. It’s a hybridized bang-and-bop, Erik Bickerstaffe delivering bellini-sweet guitar plinking and smooth-crooned reflections earlier than Kadeem France tags in to ship full-chest screams throughout a metallic dust-up.

“Entrance Towards Enemy” will depart Manson followers black and blue — and grinning ear-to-ear.

The shock rocker places up his dukes and begins swinging like a madman on his newest industrialized struggle music (Edit: which followers identified had beforehand been issued as a B-side on a restricted version CD single in 2025 earlier than getting its wider launch right this moment) . It’s a stomping, dirt-nasty bric-a-brac the place Manson puffs himself up with devilish braggadocio (“I used to be an excessive amount of for hell to swallow”) earlier than unloading on his enemies.

Confrontational as ever, and seething with FAFO vitality, his newest Assassination music goes for the kill.

Would possibly we propose you seize a fork and dig into “Snakes for Dinner”?

Mastodon’s newest preview behind Marrow Deep is a feverishly impressed swirl of pulse-quickening rhythms and hypnotic blues-sludge runs. It’s additionally received a very psychedelic, third-eye-channeling synth solo, plus a haunting closing visitor vocal from Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme.

Lyrically, it’s a crusher reflecting on the recollections of these they misplaced (“If you left you took the moon and stars”), the music noticeably name-dropping Mastodon’s outdated “Hearts Alive” monitor — a music famously that includes certainly one of late guitarist Brent Hinds’ most jaw-dropping solos.

“That is my brutality.”

Immobile in White splatter off into every kind of instructions by means of their previous, current and future-contemplating Many years album — from blistering metalcore, to wistful rock ballads to irate collabs with Corey Taylor.

Launch-day single “Struggle Like Hell” rings the bell with a mixture of anthemic rock hooks and nu-boomed swagger, Immobile transferring in direction of rap-rock brattiness whereas speaking up how MIW are filling up rooms full-cap with their kaleidoscopic model of heaviness.
