“Mainly, the entire album is about dealing with failure and having to construct your self up after that,” says Pau. “It’s that emotional journey that I feel all people undergo, and that inner wrestle. Both you’re combating with your self, [or] you’re feeling such as you’re being pitted towards different folks. It’s a constant battle to turn out to be higher.”

On the floor, the Warning are knuckles-up and able to struggle with this newest album. Over the previous few years, the sisters have earned their place on a few of rock’s largest levels, opening for icons together with Foo Fighters, Weapons N’ Roses, Halestorm and Muse. Their 2024 breakthrough, Maintain Me Fed, climbed to No. 1 on the U.Ok. Rock charts and obtained a Latin Grammy nomination for its “Qué Más Quieres.” With All the things’s Falling, that momentum has sharpened into one thing much more aggressive: movies the place the Warning blast flamethrowers within the air, hoist daggers excessive for sacrificial rituals and face off towards a prying media with katanas and a snarling assault canine by their facet.

Dany anticipates a knockout blow within the love-themed “Bloodsport,” and delivers kiss-offs to her enemies on “Kill or Be Killed.” Rip-roaring rock anthem “Kerosene” finds all three sisters uniting for a sneeringly cheerful jab at unnamed antagonists mimicking their each transfer: “You rip my hair, my fashion, my denims/I swear you copy every thing.”

Pau admits a few of their targets are fictional, nevertheless it’s nonetheless enjoyable to think about the battle. Because the Warning wrote and recorded of their native Monterrey, Mexico, the problem turned extra bodily, the album pushing all three sisters’ playing additional than ever earlier than.

“This one is absolutely rhythmically troublesome for me,” Dany says of All the things’s Falling, the place the bombastically metal-edged bridge to “Ego” finds her pummeling via effects-corroded riffage. “What I’ve to sing and what I’ve to play on this album has reached an entire new stage.”

One factor you possibly can depend on is that the members of the Warning will at all times have one another’s again. For bassist Ale, that meant stepping to the fore with hefty, iron-clad rhythms and bass strains that sing like a guitar lead. “Now that we’re making an attempt to study every thing for our stay reveals … lots of these elements Dany isn’t even enjoying the guitar,” Ale explains. “We have been writing riffs and eachfactor [together], however I used to be like, ‘ what, Dany, what you’re singing is already exhausting sufficient. If I can play that, I’ll do it.’”

The Villarreal sisters first solid their musical bond whereas enjoying the Rock Band online game collectively as youngsters. By 2013, their dad and mom moved them onto actual devices, and the preteens started honing their craft via covers of AC/DC and Metallica, which quickly went viral on YouTube. (Metallica would later embody the Warning’s cowl of “Enter Sandman” on 2021’s The Metallica Blacklist.) Their transfer to unique materials led to a sequence of well-regarded rock albums and excursions with their idols.

5 albums in, the Warning’s profile continues to rise. Their 2026 started with the collaborative “Like to Be Beloved” single alongside Grammy-winning Mexican Regional artist Carín León and included a number of world excursions with Yungblud. As they put together to stay the touchdown with All the things’s Falling, the Warning can see that their music is already bringing generations of rock followers collectively.

“You see these full households right here in these rock live shows,” Pau says. “It’s very beautiful — particularly if you see dads with their little ladies on their shoulders.” It makes her suppose again to the sisters’ personal first live performance experience collectively: watching pop-rock group Maroon 5.

“I bear in mind going to that present and being so excited,” she recollects. “We had an iPod that we shared, and we might take heed to all of the albums so we’d know each single tune.”

Pau pauses, then provides, “It’s particular that we get to be part of any person’s first expertise with the music world.”

Did this album come collectively shortly, or had you been writing via the previous couple years?Dany Villarreal We took a while off the street, after which we [decided we] have been simply gonna create.

Pau Villarreal With Maintain Me Fed, it was very on-and-off — doing writing periods right here and there, after which piecing every thing collectively, hoping it might make sense. Which it did. However for All the things’s Falling, we went into the writing room with a listing of matters, visible aids [and] a transparent path of what we wished to say with this album, what we wished it to sound like, what number of comfortable songs we wished, what number of unhappy songs that we wished, and what number of offended songs that we wished. We had every thing very strategically laid out, so there was no room for error. It was like, “We need to say this, so we’re gonna say this.” We have been capable of do it as a result of we stopped touring. We took three months to write down the album.

Dany We wrote lots of it at house, and we recorded it in Monterrey as properly, which is at all times particular.

Inform us in regards to the progress that has gone on behind the scenes between Maintain Me Fed and now. You talked about one among All the things’s Falling’s core themes is failure. Did you expertise emotions of that between albums?Dany Effectively, once we say failure, it might embody lots of various things, you understand? Perhaps it’s emotionally, health-wise, or simply [about our] careers.

Pau It doesn’t should be a giant outward failure.

Dany It’s your individual all-time low that you must overcome.

Pau I’m going to talk for the three of us, as a result of I feel we have been raised the identical means: We now have such excessive requirements for what we do and what we ask of ourselves for our jobs. So, typically even one thing silly, [like] possibly I missed a fill in a tune … folks wouldn’t blink an eye fixed. They wouldn’t suppose twice about it. However for me, that may hang-out me for the remainder of my day.

It could possibly be private failures. Or it could possibly be very large ones. However we predict that failure is the one street to progress. Should you’re not failing at one thing, you’re not placing your self on the market to even strive. And making an attempt is a really commendable factor to do. It’s very courageous, and you must be weak and get your delight out of the way in which to do it. So, [the album is] about that means of rising and changing into higher.

Within the “Kerosene” video, you’re seen ripping round an open freeway in a sports activities automotive you simply hot-wired. Have you ever had an opportunity to do this sort of a street journey collectively? No music, simply the three sisters?Dany Oh my God, no. [Laughs] By no means with one among us on the wheel.

Pau We must rent a driver. I wouldn’t belief any of us to drive a automotive.

Dany Us driving that quick on a freeway? Nope!

Pau It could possibly be enjoyable! It’s very uncommon that we have now the time to do something, simply the three of us. However I feel that’d be cute. And we have now gone on street journeys earlier than — touring technically is a giant street journey, with lots of prolonged touring.

Dany However with a slower bus.

Pau I feel that’s why music movies are so cool. You get to do issues that you’d in all probability by no means do at any level in your life, like [using] flamethrowers, or be in a sports activities automotive.

What was it like utilizing these flamethrowers?Ale Villarreal It was enjoyable! Once we recorded with the flamethrower, it was two or three within the morning. It was actually late and actually chilly, so it was truly very nice to have the flamethrowers on. You simply needed to be cautious and observe the protocols and [know] the best way to flip it off.

What have been among the larger challenges on this document?Pau Once we have been writing the songs, we’d use an ordinary drum loop, and we might write the entire tune on prime of that very same loop. After which when it was time to document, I must do what these drum loops have been doing. They have been very groovy hip-hop beats, a style that I’m not used to enjoying. It’s important to have a sure groove, a sure movement and a sure really feel to it. It’s not essentially the commonest factor in rock beats. So, I needed to actually step out of my consolation zone and get snug with doing ghost notes and including dynamics. Like, I couldn’t simply play exhausting the entire tune. I needed to have a sure sensibility. “Ego” and “Ritual” are in all probability the hardest on the album for me, so I’m comfortable we’re getting used to enjoying them stay.

You convey large screams to “Ego.” And the observe has a heavy groove in contrast to the rest on the document. The place did that tune come from?Pau “Ego” is a particular tune. I particularly fought for that tune as a result of I wished us to be offended in Spanish. We’ve by no means been offended in a tune in Spanish earlier than, and I assumed it was actually particular to discover that feeling in our language.

What was actually attention-grabbing is that we have been engaged on this tune with our producer, Anton [DeLost], and he doesn’t converse Spanish. So, he would simply sort of seize the vibe of the depth of our vocals. We additionally lean into Latin American rhythms within the tune — simply the cadence of the melodies that we’re utilizing, and rhythmically what’s occurring as properly. It feels very near the issues that we’d take heed to in Latin American music.

Having to scream was a lot enjoyable for me. I simply unlocked the power, magazineically. It’s not one thing that I’ve totally developed, however I do need to preserve creating it.

Screaming in Spanish and screaming in English is inherently completely different. It was actually enjoyable to find what these variations felt like in my throat, or my mouth. It was difficult, however in a enjoyable means. It’s undoubtedly a giant let-go second. It’s very therapeutic to take the time to be offended about one thing after which let it go.

Dany Being offended in Spanish feels so legit.

Pau It’s straight from the supply.

Dany No translation wanted.

Dany, within the “Ego” video you’re enjoying a Gibson Explorer that Lzzy Hale gave you when you have been on tour collectively just a few years in the past. Are you able to inform us about that?Dany That was such a particular second. We truly revisited the venue the place that had occurred on this tour, and I acquired so nostalgic. So, the story is that Lzzy [gave me] a guitar in the course of our set, and I didn’t actually grasp that it was a present for me. I assumed I might play one among her guitars for one tune, and I used to be like, “Sure!” However then we acquired offstage, and he or she stated, “No, that’s for you, lady. I hope you get to rock out with it, and that sometime you’ll be capable of do the identical factor to somebody who conjures up you as a lot as you encourage me.” That was so good. We’re superb pals. We love Lzzy and the entire Halestorm crew. After all, that is one among our heaviest songs but. I had to make use of it for the video. It was a straightforward resolution to make.

There’s anger in “Kerosene,” nevertheless it’s additionally introduced in a enjoyable means with the way you’re focusing on the copycats. Who’re the copycats, although?Dany Mmm… we don’t have any copycats to speak about, particularly.

Pau We don’t have beef with anybody.

Dany We actually wished to make a enjoyable and sassy tune. We have been considering of [it as] a coming-of-age film, like a doing-your-makeup tune.

Pau It’s simply our storytelling means coming via. Once we have been little, we’d write tales, as a result of we had little or no life expertise. I feel it’s enjoyable if you create these eventualities — I pretend struggle with folks in my head!

Dany Actually? [Laughs]

Pau Sure, I’ve points. It’s like doing that, however collectively. You’re making a scenario that doesn’t exist. Like, what would you say to that individual if that [fight] was truly taking place?

We had a lot enjoyable doing that, as a result of we’re very nice folks. I don’t know if that’s bizarre for us to say, however we’re so chill. We’re calm. I can’t think about us actually going as much as any person and saying that — however that’s why music is so enjoyable. You get to place your self in eventualities that you simply usually wouldn’t be in.

Is there any sibling rivalry secretly inside that tune? You’re so shut that you simply share every thing collectively, however typically you may want somewhat one thing in yourself. Like, “Don’t copy me, that is mine.”Dany Oh, by no means. Not even somewhat bit.

Ale I truly by no means considered it that means… That’s so humorous. Really combating within the room, with one another?

Pau There will be petty little sister issues in our day-to-day, however I don’t suppose we’ve ever felt that we’re competing towards one another, as a result of we’re such a good staff. It’s at all times us towards the world. So, no.

The roots of this band are wrapped up in video video games, via your experiences enjoying Rock Band collectively as youngsters. This 12 months, Maintain Me Fed’s “Qué Más Quieres” ended up in WWE 2K26. How does it really feel to have one among your songs in a recreation like that?Dany We love that we will be a part of the online game world, as a result of that’s how we discovered so many [of the] songs of our childhood. It’s simply so essential to us that our music can get to so many locations — and locations that we didn’t actually anticipate. Like, sports activities is such a distinct world from what we do. We’re within the Madden online game as properly [with Keep Me Fed’s “S!CK”].

Pau It’s loopy to be linked in that means. Greater than something, we love music a lot. We beloved the music from not solely Rock Band, however different video video games that have been actually soundtrack-heavy. That actually turned the soundtrack of our lives. We hear again to these songs, they usually nonetheless maintain such a particular place in our hearts. And to suppose that any person might have that feeling — that second — with one among our songs? It’s very full circle. It’s very stunning.

Have you ever had an opportunity to sit down down and game-out along with both the wrestling recreation or Madden?Pau We’re good at sure video video games. However sports activities video video games… I might fail on the NFL. I do know we purchased the sport; we simply have to really play it.

Dany We have to have the time…

You submit about enjoying board video games on the street, although…Dany Sure, Catan!

Pau We like enjoying Catan, and we like enjoying Trivial Pursuit. We’re large board recreation folks. And we at all times convey decks of playing cards to play [on tour].Dany Which is clearly not the very first thing folks consider with a rock band: “They’re tremendous into board video games!”

Is that one thing that you would be able to loop your tourmates into? Has Yungblud sat in on a recreation of Catan?Dany Oh, by no means. No, no, no… however we have now frolicked collectively.

Pau If we’re gonna play playing cards, everybody’s invited.

Dany And we had a Mario Kart event only a few days in the past. Ale received!

!["The]("https://media.revolvermag.com/smaecrmuhw/uploads/2026/07/28/The-Warning-Dany-live-2026-Dimitry-Mak.jpg")
