First, Jason Biggs is an admitted “foot man.” Second, he’s educated in area of interest shoe tendencies and is aware of the way to pronounce “Alaïa.” Good for him, I feel?

So right here’s how we obtained there. On Thursday, the American Pie actor appeared on the Thanks Dad podcast hosted by Ego Nwodim. At one level within the dialog, Biggs talked about he was “hyperaware” of vogue tendencies, together with the rise of the Alaïa ballet flat, which he’s just a little late to however occurs to love very a lot. As for Yves Saint Laurent’s “flip-flop heel”? Not a fan. “I don’t just like the silhouette,” he stated. “It’s not aesthetically interesting to me.” However probably the most offensive development of all in Biggs’s eyes is having your toes out in a grimy metropolis like New York. “Shut that toe!” he added. “It’s time so that you can begin rocking close-toed footwear.”

Biggs pays such shut consideration to ladies’s shoe tendencies for one easy, if freaky, motive: He likes ft. “I admire ft,” the 48-year-old defined. “I feel ft may be attractive.” When requested if he kisses his spouse’s ft (Nwodim was presumably referring to his soon-to-be ex-wife, Jenny Mollen), he nodded sure.

Biggs refused to confess he commonly visits Wikifeet, to which Nwodim laughed, “You fucking liar! Responsible as fuck.” However as a lot as he appears to admire different folks’s ft, he finds his personal toes simply “okay.” He whipped one in every of his canine out within the studio, thought of it, and declared that his foot was “good, not dangerous.” He’s, nevertheless, into mani-pedis — no polish, only a thorough scrub. For Nwodim and her manufacturing group’s sake, that’s nice information.

All issues thought of, this interview might have gone loads worse, particularly contemplating it got here from a soon-to-be-divorced man. After 20 years collectively, Biggs and Mollen reportedly broke off their marriage in Could. However the next month, Mollen stated that they discuss “18 occasions a day” and admitted their relationship was nonetheless romantic. If I used to be in the midst of all that, I’d most likely begin fixating on ft, too.
